• VanEck’s Tron (TRX) ETN to Go Live on Euronext Exchange, Said Justin Sun

  • VanEck is expanding its cryptocurrency-related exchange-traded notes offerings in Europe, launching products that track the performance of Solana, Tron, and Polkadot on the Xetra Deutsche Borse. Tron’s ETN will now be available on Euronext in Paris and Amsterdam, according to the project’s founder.

VanEck, the global investment manager, announced earlier this week that three new ETNs – for Solana, Tron, and Polkadot – had been launched on Germany’s Xetra exchange.

The company’s portfolio of exchange-traded notes that track the performance of various digital assets is growing.

Justin Sun, Tron’s CEO, later updated that the VanEck TRX ETN, ticker VTRX, will also be listed on the Euronext stock exchanges in Paris and Amsterdam.

Sun concluded, “TRX ETN remains favored and supported by the global mainstream market.”

He considers this a “critical” step in the company’s compliance and globalization strategy, and it may also allow investors to purchase the native token “without borders and low thresholds.” VTRX is expected to begin trading on September 24th at 9:00 a.m. CEST.

While VanEck has had success with its ETN listings in Europe, its efforts to launch an exchange-traded fund in the United States have met with little to no success.

The company has submitted several applications to the SEC in order to launch a BTC ETF (and other cryptocurrency-focused ETFs). It had to withdraw a few of its earlier filings, and the Securities and Exchange Commission postponed a decision on the most recent one earlier this year.
