Brady said on a recent episode of his “Let’s Go” podcast with Jim Gray and Larry Fitzgerald, “I’d love to request that to get paid in some crypto and, you know, to get paid in some Bitcoin or Ethereum or Solana tokens.” Brady goes on to express his enthusiasm for the industry, saying, “I think it’s an amazing thing that’s happening in the world with the way the world is becoming more digital.” And these digital currencies, along with a lot of other things, if you look at how the world is going, with all of these different digital mediums and how they’re affecting currencies.”

During the episode, Brady also confirmed that “there are other big-name players who have indicated that they’d love to get paid in Crypto.”

    Brady is getting into crypto.

Brady, who has made more than $300 million in his NFL career, has been an outspoken supporter of digital currencies. He not only supports the effort, but he is also involved in several projects, including non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and a partnership with FTX.

Brady’s wife, international supermodel Gisele Bündchen, is also a part of the FTX deal. Despite Brady’s 20+ years in the NFL, Bündchen is the family’s primary breadwinner, having been the highest-paid model in the world from 2002 to 2017.

Brady signed a lucrative deal with FTX, becoming a brand ambassador for the cryptocurrency exchange, while Bündchen oversees FTX’s Environmental and Social Initiative. Both received cryptocurrency as well as an equity stake in FTX. Brady has also signed a deal with Autograph.io to market and sell NFTs bearing his likeness in addition to the FTX deal. Brady’s first NFT collection, the “Preseason Access Collection,” was released in August and sold out almost immediately.
