• On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Paris Hilton endorses NFTs

  • Paris Hilton, the socialite-turned-business-mogul, appeared on an episode of The Tonight Show on August 18. The conversation led to Jimmy Fallon, the show’s host, asking her about NFTs, and the celebrity explained what they are in plain language, endorsing this trend to millions of viewers.

Paris Hilton talks about NFTs with Jimmy Fallon.

When the topic of NFTs came up, and Jimmy inquired about them, Paris explained that they are non-fungible tokens. They are distributed via the blockchain. They can be used to sell anything – art, music, experiences, physical objects, and so on.

They mentioned the US artist Beeple, who sold an NFT for $69 million in early March of this year.

Hilton’s own NFT collection is valued at over $1.11 million.

Paris Hilton joined the new NFT trend in April when she collaborated with designer Blake Kathryn to create her own collection of non-fungible tokens.

Her NFT series included three non-fungible tokens that sold for $220,000 each and were expected to bring her a total of $1.11 million after the auction.

Paris Hilton has recently developed an interest in cryptocurrency. As reported by U.Today in February, during her interview with CNBC’s Closing Bell, she revealed that she was “very, very excited” about Bitcoin and had been invested in it for some time.

Mike Novogratz believes that NFTs have a bright future.

Mike Novogratz, the head of the Galaxy Digital crypto hedge fund and a well-known Wall Street investor and asset manager, praised NFTs during another episode of the “Next with Novo” podcast in late July.

He stated that he believes non-fungible tokens will eventually permeate every industry. Novo believes that every industry, not just art and music, but also healthcare, will use NFTs to build community, grow it, and profit.
