• NFTs from Ethereum can now be moved to Solana: This Is How

  • Wormhole, the development team behind the world’s first bridge between the Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) smart contract platforms, now supports NFT.

Wormhole now powers the Ethereum and Solana NFT ecosystems. Ethereum and Solana users can now send NFTs between two blockchains, according to an official announcement shared by Wormhole cross-chain bridge vendor.

Holders of digital collectibles on Ethereum (including iconic Crypto Punks, Degen Ape Academy, and others) can now seamlessly transfer them to Solana as of today, September 22, 2021. (SOL).

In its initial releases, the product will only support the most popular digital collectible standards: ERC-721 and SPL tokens. More standards, including ERC-1155, will be added in the near future.

Users only need to connect wallets (Metamask, Sollet, and so on) to send NFTs between the two chains, customize the chain and target account, and select NFTs to transfer and authorize the transaction.

Bridges connecting networks are on fire.

Wormhole’s second iteration includes this release (Version v2). Wormhole, as previously reported by U.Today, will incorporate more chains such as BSC and Terra (LUNA) in this version.

The use of cross-network bridges is increasing as DeFi and NFT adoption grows. In the Web3 universe, Ethereum-Polygon bridges are the most common.

In addition, Circle’s USD Coin (USDC) stablecoin has surpassed Ether as the most valuable asset of cross-chain bridges.
