• ETH Is Locked in DeFi on Historic Highs: More Information

  • Following a significant drop in TVL, a decentralized finance ecosystem has recovered to produce some breathtaking metrics.

DeFi has 7,830,000 Ethers locked in.

In the last ten days, the net number of Ethers locked in various decentralized finance protocols increased by 12 percent. On September 15, 2021, this indicator reached a two-month low of approximately 6.95 million Ethers.

According to DeFi Pulse, a popular decentralized finance segment tracker, the total number of Ethers in all indexed protocols is 7.8 million Ethers.

In terms of TVL, the most popular protocols are Aave Finance (AAVE), Compound Finance (COMP), Instadapp, Uniswap (UNI), and Curve Finance (CRV).

According to DeFi Pulse, the top five DeFis account for nearly 6.9 million Ethers, or 85 percent of net TVL.

Rari Capital (RGT) and Yearn.Finance (YFI) are on fire.

Yearn.Finance (YFI) and Rari Capital (RGT) both registered double-digit gains in the last 24 hours.

Simultaneously, the Ethereum 2.0 deposit contract aims for nearly the same numbers. It had 7.77 million Ethers as of September 25, 2021.
