Following the latest featured drop on NFT collectibles platform ENVOY, in collaboration with chart-topping DJ/actor Dimitri Vegas and Batman producer Michael Uslan, the NFT boom is showing signs of mainstream adoption.
The project, titled “Alien Samourai Dino Warriors,” is based on an upcoming graphic novel series of the same name and is the most recent collection to be released on ENVOY, a platform for community-driven, collectible NFT projects.
It comes on the heels of the Network’s August launch of “Decentraboard,” the first-ever NFT curated billboard to display artwork in the most iconic and unique locations around the world, including New York’s Times Square.
Strategic NFT Collaboration
The collaboration between the Dino Warriors creators and ENVOY marks the beginning of a strategic NFT partnership aimed at the mainstream.
ENVOY’s extensive network of strategists, influencers, and technologists is also being used to bring the exclusive new NFT collection to life.
The ENVOY team collaborates with projects to develop NFT collections that exist both on the blockchain and in the real world.
Launching in up to five distinct tiers – Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Community – each with a high degree of collectibility.
These collectibles tap into the fanbases of artists, musicians, entertainment franchises, and other brands, providing exclusive content and one-of-a-kind benefits.
The Dino Warriors NFT collection includes three-dimensional animated statues of the five main Dino Warriors characters, as well as trading cards in a variety of styles.
This was accomplished by utilizing the ENVOY tiers, which provide varying levels of rarity and affordability.
ENVOY Network CEO Bram Verstraeten commented on the Dino Warriors collaboration, saying, “Working with talented creators like Dimitri Vegas and the legendary Uslans gave us the ability to create an unprecedented and innovative NFT collection that will definitely set the benchmark for our upcoming projects.”
“NFTs are an excellent tool for connecting creators with the people who support and collect their work.”
Alien Samurai Dino Warriors combines ENVOY’s NFT networking expertise. This includes an all-star cast of experienced creators who have brought to life some of the most popular TV shows, comic books, and video games.
Dimitri Vegas and Michael Uslan are joined on the project by Michael’s son, David, an expert in animation and graphic novels, as well as cartoonist Erik Burnham and Marvel Comics editor Heather Antos.
Burnham is best known for creating graphic novels based on the films Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, The A-Team, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Meanwhile, Antos helped launch Marvel’s Star Wars line, created the Gwenpool character, and is now the editor of Star Wars Adventures.
“Dino Warriors is very special to me and is inspired by my love and passion for ‘80s comics and cartoons,” Dimitri Vegas said of the team’s project and partnership with ENVOY. It has been very exciting to translate this into an NFT-fueled powerhouse with the groundbreaking ENVOY Network.”
What Comes Next?
The Dino Warriors NFT collection will be available later this month. To gain access to the release, fans must first pre-register at the drop site or connect via the Discord and Telegram channels.
According to Vegas, the Dino Warriors NFTs are just the beginning, with a comic series featuring the unique characters set to be released in 2022.
ENVOY also has big plans for the future, beginning with the ENVOY Vault and rewards program, which will allow ENVOY crypto token holders to farm “Pearls” in order to unlock Vaults containing rare and exclusive community tier NFTs, as well as real-life perks based on users’ activity in the community.
