• Christie’s Is Holding An Auction For The Complete Set Of Curio Cards NFT!

  • Curio Cards, the first known NFT art collection on the Ethereum blockchain, is finally coming to Christie’s auction, as Noah Davis, the “NFT Guy at Christie’s,” confirmed that the entire card set will be auctioned on October 1st. After Beeple and CryptoPunks, this will be the third renowned collection to be auctioned by Christie’s. Christie’s is a well-known British auction company that specializes in rare and exotic goods and collections. The fact that this oldest art collection has been accepted on Ethereum demonstrates the demand for and worth of historical NFT collections.

The news is true! Full set of 30 Curio Cards (no 17b included) @ChristiesInc October 1— Noah Davis (@NonFungibleNoah) August 23, 2021

On March 11, Christie’s set a new record for the most expensive sale in history when “EVERYDAYS: THE FIRST 5000 DAYS” by Beeple was sold for $69 million plus. On May 11, another lot of 9 CryptoPunks sold for $17 million at auction. The whole set of 30 Curio Cards is estimated to sell for between 250 and 350 ETH ($830,890 – $1,163,246), but these are only estimates; the complete collection might sell for much more!
